This is in very early stages, but I had an idea of incorporating Gulliver's Travels with some satirical take on COVID-19 or the excessive political discussions that saturate today's media. I am unsure how this would translate into a narrative other than viewing the current world situation through a third-party lens.
(Maybe COVID-19 could become the giant that is Gulliver initially promising not to hurt anyone... my mind can picture everyone in the picture below wearing masks.)
When I started reading this description last week, my immediate thought was that the Lilliputians were COVID-19 taking someone down. But I certainly can imagine this reversed as well.
