For project 2, I was thinking of tackling rising sea levels with the mythology of dragons. Most people believe dragons to be fire breathing creatures so it stands to reason that such a creature would be wary of rising water and try to get away from it. But what happens when the water rises too much and the dragon has no where to go? Dragons are large creatures that are typically solitary in most mythologies so they wouldn't want to be in close proximity to each other which would become an unfortunate challenge when their habitats are being flooded and they all have to move further inland.

I already mentioned my Puff the Magic Dragon (who lived by the sea) thought. Regardless of your approach, I think this is a fun idea. It will help if your narrative explains some of the details about dragons that are needed to understand the story.
